Link Your Nintendo Network ID to Nintendo Account Before It's Too Late Don't miss out - link your Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo Account before it's too late. Nintendo has announced the end date for their service allowing players to link their Nintendo Accounts to their old Nintendo Network IDs. Learn how to do it in this article.

Nintendo recently announced that the service that allows users to link Nintendo Network IDs, used on the 3DS and Wii U, with Nintendo Accounts will come to an end on March 27th, 2023. This means that anyone who wants to link their Nintendo Network ID with their Nintendo Account will only have one last chance to do so.

For those who don't know, linking your Nintendo Network ID with your Nintendo Account allows players to access their previous purchases on the 3DS and Wii U, transfer their digital games and save data from their 3DS and Wii U systems to their Nintendo Account, and even use PayPal as a payment option when buying digital content for the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS family systems.

If you want to link your Nintendo Network ID with your Nintendo Account, the first thing you'll need to do is visit the Nintendo Account website and sign in. After signing in, select “User Info” and scroll to “Linked Accounts.” If your NNID shows that it is already linked to your Nintendo Account, you won't need to do anything.

However, if your NNID is not linked to your Nintendo Account, you'll need to select “Link Nintendo Network ID” and sign in with your Nintendo Network ID. Once you do this, the accounts will be linked and you'll be able to access your previous purchases and save data on the 3DS and Wii U.

Plus, if you link your Nintendo Account, you can play an additional stage for free! These stages change daily, so be sure to check back often. Let's-a go!

Those who don't link their Nintendo Network IDs with their Nintendo Accounts by March 27th, 2023, will still be able to play the games they've purchased on the 3DS and Wii U, but they won't be able to access their purchases or save data on their Nintendo Accounts. This means they won't be able to transfer their digital games or save data to their Nintendo Switch systems.

Furthermore, those who don't link their accounts won't be able to use PayPal as a payment option when buying digital content for the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS family systems. This means that the only payment option available for those who don't link their accounts will be credit cards.

It's important to note that any games purchased on the 3DS and Wii U, as well as any save data transferred from the 3DS and Wii U systems to the Nintendo Switch, will remain accessible even if the accounts are not linked.

So if you want to take advantage of all the benefits of linking your Nintendo Network ID with your Nintendo Account, be sure to do it before March 27th, 2023.
