This is, really and truly, the last ever Steam Charts. Which, I realise, is something I've said before. More than once. But with the recent release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam, it's hard not to take notice of the game's dominating presence on the platform. The game is currently in seventh place on the Steam Top 100, with over 56,000 players at the time of writing and a peak of over 160,000. That's an impressive feat for a game that has been around for years.

Halo: Reach has arrived on Steam with a huge splash and some amazing concurrent player numbers. The addition of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4 to the Master Chief Collection has only added to the hype surrounding the game. Fans of the Halo series have been eagerly awaiting its arrival on Steam, and it seems that their patience has paid off.

The recent release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection has sold close to two million copies on Steam. This speaks to the enduring popularity of the Halo franchise and the excitement surrounding its arrival on the PC platform. With the addition of new content and updates, the game continues to attract new players and retain its loyal fanbase.

As interest in season 1 of Infinite fades and with the launch of a big new update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the player count of the game has been steadily increasing. This is a testament to the quality of the game and the dedication of its developers to providing a top-notch gaming experience for fans.

The Steam launch of Halo: Reach has proven there's a big appetite for Bungie's classics on PC. Halo: Reach is the first game from The Master Chief Collection to be released on Steam, and its success has paved the way for the rest of the games in the collection to follow suit. Fans of the series can now enjoy all the Halo games on their preferred platform.

The new Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios survival game Grounded has climbed to the top of the Steam sales charts just one day after its release. This shows the strong presence of Microsoft-owned games on the Steam platform and the growing interest in games from Xbox Game Studios.
