The Nintendo 64, also known as the N64, was released on June 23, 1996 in Japan, September 29, 1996 in North America, and March 1, 1997 in Europe. It was Nintendo's third home video game console and is remembered fondly by gamers for its innovative controller design and groundbreaking 3D graphics.

The N64 was the first console to feature analog stick controls, allowing for more precise and immersive gameplay. It also introduced the world to classic titles such as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Mario Kart 64, which are still beloved by fans to this day.
