The best way to customize your Steam Deck, at least that I've found over the past several months, is to install a third-party loader called Decky Loader. This tool allows you to access a wide range of customization options that are not available through the standard Steam Deck settings. From changing the boot-up animation to installing custom themes, Decky Loader gives you full control over how your Steam Deck looks and feels.

In the steam/root/config folder, users should create a folder named uioverrides and another folder named movies inside it. From there, it's a simple process of adding custom movies and UI elements to enhance the visual appeal of your Steam Deck.

The custom APU from AMD consists of a four-core/eight-thread Zen 2 chip, an RDNA 2-based GPU with eight compute units, and a 128-bit memory interface. This hardware configuration allows for smooth gameplay and high-quality graphics on the Steam Deck.
