These days, I think most of us associate two key franchises with Naughty Dog: Uncharted and The Last of Us. Before the studio had us setting out on epic adventures with Nathan Drake and surviving a post-apocalyptic world with Ellie and Joel, there was Jak and Daxter. The Ratchet & Clank series is amazing, but there are quite a few games out there you can play if you like the formula. Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is one such game that offers a similar blend of platforming, action, and humor that fans of the Ratchet & Clank series will surely appreciate.

Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2, the off-brand Jak & Daxter, is free on Steam. It's actually pretty good, and a new one is coming too. While Kao the Kangaroo may not have the same level of recognition as Jak and Daxter, it still offers a fun and engaging platforming experience for players looking for something new to try on Steam.

It's official, Valve put The Last of Us Part 1 through Deck Verified and gave it an Unsupported status on Steam Deck. This news may disappoint some fans of the critically acclaimed game, but it's important to remember that there are still plenty of other great games, including Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, to enjoy on the Steam platform.

After Reddit's recent API controversy, the site's subreddit dedicated to Steam takes a hilariously literal approach to its new protest. While the controversy may have caused a stir among Reddit users, gamers can still enjoy the wide selection of games available on Steam, including the newly added Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.

Numskull Games has announced that the 3D platformer, Clive 'N' Wrench, will release in February 2023. Fans of platforming games like Jak and Daxter will surely be excited to try out this new title and see how it compares to the classic adventures of Jak and Daxter on Steam.

Trifox by Glowfish Interactive will be launched in Q1 of next year for many platforms, but a demo is currently available on Steam. Players looking for a new platforming experience can check out the demo of Trifox on Steam while they wait for the full release. Who knows, it may become the next beloved classic like Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
