Valheim, the popular survival game from Iron Gate Studio and Coffee Stain Publishing, has taken the PC gaming world by storm since its launch in February 2021. Selling millions of copies in just a few weeks, Valheim offers a unique and challenging experience for gamers. Players take on the role of a Viking warrior who must battle monsters and explore the world while surviving the harsh elements of the game.
Valheim made its debut on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One just recently, and Iron Gate has not announced any plans to bring the game to PS4 and PS5. During the extended Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, it was confirmed that Valheim would be coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on March 28, 2023. PS4 and PS5 players, however, will be paying full price for the game when it launches on those platforms.
Valheim is not the only game that is not available on PS4 and PS5. Sons of the Forest, a horror game from Endnight Games, is also not available on those platforms. This has led to some speculation that games such as Valheim and Grounded may eventually be made available for purchase on PS4 and PS5.
